7. On one side of the Savior they called Jesus, there was Gestas to the Right side; and on the Left side of the Sun there was Dismas; and these men were called Thieves, and yet different from thieves.

8. Hear ye, oh small men beneath the firmament of Below, of Knowledge which gleameth forever and is named Truth:

9. For the the Two were not physical men, but Two Sides they were in the likeness of the Two Sides of Man; verily, Man hath a hand on His left side, and Man hath a hand on His right side; and it is said that the Path of the Right direction leadeth to the Light by strength of Will and Perseverance; but of the Path of the Leftward direction: it doth leadeth the Soul astray; yea, the destination of the Left way is a city called Wealth and Success: but it is of the world and naught above it.

10. And a Man shall follow one and realize not of it: that the Former leadeth to Above, but the Latter leadeth to Below.

11. Thus hath it been said: Two were the Thieves, and They did suffer death on either side of the personal Self Sacrifice.

12. And the Three set to perish upon the lot they called Golgotha, for it was a place not of skulls; nay, but Golgatha is the skull hidden inside; verily, Golgotha is within the head of each man and not outside it.

13. And Gestas the Thief, He hanged below the Christ on the Right side and did repent; yea, repented He Him, saying: I shall now follow the Light by Mine Will: I shall now follow the Chirst by Mine Will alone.

14. And Dismas the Thief, He hanged below the Christ also on the Left side and did not repent, but remained with arrogance; yea, repented He Him not, saying: I shall follow not the Christ before Me who calleth Himself the Light. Nay, by Mine Will: I shall turn a cheek away from the Light by Mine Will alone. For Gestas mayest seek Heaven; and He shalt surely find It; but of Me, I desire the earth and the pleasures given upon it therein.

15. And it hath been said also, that the Thieves: They art the two physical eyes of Man; and Christ is the Third Eye betwixt Them, and He is far Higher and hidden deep within the head.

16. And the Sun stood upon a Mount of Olives; verily, upon Two Olives the Son stood sturdy and confidently: and the Two Olives were not like fruits, but Two Spheres within the brain of Man.

17. Deemed and tried were Gestas and Dismas as thieves, yea, for They art the eyes of the face: and They steal the sights of the world from the Inner Eye; tricking the Self, whispering to the head that all which is can be seen only with the Two;

18. They hath stolen thine sights! Ye men who hath become blind, the Two hath stolen thine Inner Sight for the sake of knowing the external.
