Enneagram and You (the ones searching for knowledge)

Although most people know of personality types to some extent, they usually know of MBTI, which is a very feel-good and useless system. There are several other preferred personality type systems, such as my personal favorite: The Enneagram. Following sacred geometry, its often the preference of more spiritual people, even being mentioned on the actual 973 site.

The enneagram is made up of 9(!!!) personality types, and is typed in a few different ways. The first is simply your primary type out of the 9, which is less popular than the wing system, in which the number above or below your main type that is most similar to you is declared your "wing". There is then the form i find most related to 973 in particular: tritype. the enneagram is split into 3 parts with three types each; head (fear), heart, and gut(shame), sometimes called body (anger). If you take one type from each section you get your tritype. why is this relevant to 973? 973 is a possible tritype.

I dont know if it means anything, maybe its Davids Tritype? Maybe we could say its the collective tritype of the people trying to understand.


9: type 9s are prone to loneliness, depression, and a sort of obsession with things that are outside of themselves. they can stay on here as long as they can because they are trying to avoid their personal issues.
7: 7s are manic with obsessions. They can search for answers on sites like this for sleepless days and will keep with it in till they get the answers they are looking for.
3: Type 3s are defined by ambitiousness. They hear about a site like this being impossible to crack or understand and would view giving up on the site as a personal failure.

personally I think types 5,6, and 4 are also likely to search but im biased because im a 5w6

I'm sorry, I tend to be overly harsh on more popular things. My main issue with MBTI is less the Barnum effect but moreso that it changes pretty often. Personality does too though. Ill probably spend the day going down a rabbithole about it though
